Saint Petersburg, is one of the ten cities considered to be particularly attractive for visiting. It has a dozen of sights which are absolutely must see for the tourists.

The first of them is, of course,  the Hermitage — one of the world famous fine art museum. It keeps more than 15 thousand paintings, 12 thousand sculptures, 600 thousands drawings, over 600 thousand monuments of archeology, over one million coins and medals, etc. The St. Isaac's Cathedral, the Russian Museum, the Spilled Blood Cathedral, Peter's Palace in Petrodvorets have to be added to the list, which, however, can be continued endlessly.

Connoisseurs of classical music are welcome to opera and ballet performances in Mariinsky Theatre (famous in the whole world), Bolshoy and Maly Drama Theatres, Musorgsky Opera and Ballet Theatre, Alexandrovsky Theatre and many others that significantly determine Saint Petersburg`s role of “cultural capital of Russia”.
